Jeffrey Reese, MD
Jeffrey Reese, MD, is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Stanford University Department of Urology. He is also the Deputy Chief of Urology and the Director of the Laparoscopic Training Laboratory at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Reese is the Chief of the Division of Urology, the Co-Director of Perioperative Services and the Chair of the Operating Room Committee at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
After receiving undergraduate education at Brown and John Hopkins Universities, Dr. Reese attended the John Hopkins University School of Medicine. He then did his residency at the Stanford University School of Medicine and was the Chief Resident between 1987 and 1988.
Dr. Reese has had many funded research projects since 1989.
Current Research Interests
Dr. Reese is the Director of the Tissue Bank at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. He is a co-investigator, Microarray Analysis of Gene Expression in Prostate Tissues (A Cancer Taxonomy Based on Gene Expression Patterns). He is the Principal Investigator in a Selenium and Vitamin E Cancer Prevention Trial (SELECT).
